High-Performance Insulation for Alpine Conditions
NZ Foam insulation provided a high-performance insulation solution for the Mt Cheeseman Ski Area café, helping create a warm, energy-efficient environment capable of withstanding the demanding alpine climate.
Applied directly to the building structure, our NZ foam created a seamless thermal envelope, eliminating gaps and reducing unwanted air movement. This helps maintain comfortable indoor temperatures for visitors and staff while reducing the energy required for heating throughout the ski season.
The lightweight nature of the system and its ability to adhere to a wide range of substrates made it particularly well suited to the challenges of construction in a remote mountain environment. In addition to exceptional thermal performance, the closed-cell foam helps manage moisture and condensation, contributing to the long-term durability of the building.
